Pais from 150 year old old bush vines in the remote Bio Bio region of southern Chile. Aged in 60-80 year old Rauli (Chilean beech) barrels, called Pipas- hence the name. "Pipeño" is traditional Chilean farm wine- usually Pais. It's old school, terroir driven, and made to be drunk young
Funky and herbal, bright and alive- I get bright berry and minerality and a vivant feel. This is killer natural wine, made from some of the oldest vines I have ever heard of, at a v friendly price point.
