Wow! This is the most exciting bottle of bubbles I've had in a long time (which says something, because I've been popping a lot of bubbles these days.) Aromatic Malvasia grapes grown in limestone soils, macerated on the skins for 5 days before being bottle fermented in the metodo ancestrale. I get apricot, wildflower and grapefruit on the nose, and a delightful delightfully fizzy texture on the palate. Great for a warm afternoon on its own, or paired with dinner.
